Trzecia część Syntezy Nadprzestrzeni. Obecna Ziemia to świat po wielu apokalipsach, który zamieszkują już nie tylko ludzie, ale także androidy, kosmici oraz cyber-istoty z wirtualnej Sieci. Tymczasem w pobliżu orbity okołoziemskiej przelatuje asteroida spoza znanej części kosmosu. Zaś na jej powierzchni odnaleziony zostaje zahibernowany chłopiec. Od tego momentu każdy pragnie wejść w posiadanie gwiezdnego dziecka. Do akcji wkraczają krysztolit Irvin, android Jane, cyber-konstruktor Eiden oraz oficer Arneb. Jednak początkowo nikt nie zdaje sobie sprawy, że kosmos skrywa jeszcze większą tajemnicę, a jest nią nadprzestrzeń. Rozpoczyna się wyścig i walka na bezprecedensową skalę.
