Über dieses E-Book

It is estimated that about 25 percent of the Bible relates to prophecy. God did not include prophecy in his Word just to fill up the pages. God wants those who are his own to not only understand prophecy but also to act on that understanding. Clear prophetic markers in Scripture light the way to Christ's return. Some of these markers are currently blazing brightly. The antichrist, the false prophet, the church, the Jews, the 144,000, the two witnesses, and the three angels each have a role to play as the last seven years of history unfolds. Scripture provides clues as to how these last-days players are integrated into the biblical script of the tribulation period.

Autoren-Profil

Dr. Peterson draws on his training and experience as a scientist, pastor, and Bible teacher in evaluating a broad spectrum of end-times prophecies. Each of these individual biblical pronouncements fits together like pieces of a giant panoramic jigsaw puzzle. They depict seven years of tribulation, culminating with God bringing down the curtain on the final act of the dominance of evil on earth. Dr. Robert Peterson holds three degrees in the biological sciences, including a PhD, as well as a degree in Bible and Ministry from Ozark Christian College. He has held pastorates at four different churches and has taught adult Bible study classes for over twenty-five years. His ten-lesson series on end-times prophecies, Jesus Is Coming Again, formed the basis for As You See the Day Approaching. He continues to teach adult Bible study classes and lead small-group studies. Dr. Peterson and his wife have two adult children, one granddaughter, and one great-granddaughter.He and his wife currently live in the St. Louis area.
