Lana and Crystal are being held prisoner in Queen Pari's castle. They are arguing over what the queen has said, but who will be right? Finn having escaped needs a rescue plan, but what he finds out about his father, he knows he has to save his family from him? Can he save his family and the people from the king? Half-blood siblings, the Fairfeathers, go to Buyan to spy on Queen Pari. Lana and Crystal are captured. Finn saves everyone else but Lana learns that her father is to blame for Lyonesse's problems, not Queen Pari. This story has plenty of action, ending with a cliffhanger. Very highly recommended. This was a absolutely page turner! I started the series with this book and was so very captivated with these characters. A father who used anyone and everyone who could help him gain power, even his children and their loved ones. Will they realize how evil he is before its too late. Who will believe them. My emotions were all over the place. The truth can be painful. This is a must read series. I am going to start reading book 1 now!.
