About this ebook

In order to effectively convey difficult philosophical concepts, the author expertly guided me through a King's journey while giving me the idea that I was on my own journey. It did an excellent job of portraying worries, trepidations, and insecurities and was very clear in describing the challenging decision-making process. Most of us find it challenging to even begin to understand some of the ideas in this book. We found that conceptualising this Because of how beautifully the author depicted the locations, I could practically feel the wind from the north, see the sunrise, and view the city from the watchtowers. I experienced this most recently while reading Alchemist. My point is that I felt completely drawn into the story and transported to the setting by the author. One of those novels you ought to read multiple times because, as you delve farther, you might discover something new that you weren't even looking for. concept in terms of the mythological gods, goddesses, and devil

"Janaka and Ashtavakra: A Journey Beyond" by Ashraf Karayath is a captivating and thought-provoking novel that explores ancient Indian spiritual wisdom and philosophy. The story follows the journey of King Janaka and Ashtavakra, as they navigate the treacherous world of the royal palace and strive towards spiritual enlightenment. What impressed me most about this book was the author's ability to take complex concepts such as liberation, consciousness, and the illusion of reality, and weave them into a compelling narrative. The story is both accessible and profound, offering readers a unique perspective on some of life's biggest questions. The characters in the book are well-developed, and I found myself fully invested in their journeys. King Janaka, in particular, is a fascinating character, torn between his quest for spiritual enlightenment and his duty to his kingdom. Ashtavakra is also a compelling figure, with his physical deformity serving as a metaphor for the impermanence and illusory nature of the material world. Overall, I would highly recommend "Janaka and Ashtavakra: A Journey Beyond" to anyone interested in spirituality, philosophy, or ancient Indian literature.

Ashraf Karayath's "Janaka and Ashtavakra: A Journey Beyond" is a inspiring story of Ashtavakra from the Ramayana. I have read so many iterations of Ashtavakra but many of them are so confusing and we could not interpret most of the metaphors used to describe his character. Ashtavakra is one complex character whose motivations cannot be easily described buy Ashraf has done a tremendous job The character of King janaka and his arc is the best part of this book. We are able to see how he changes from being a pompous and aspiring ruler to conquer the world to a person who sees the world in a different light Although both the characters are great in their own way, the chemistry between them is what I have enjoyed the most in this book. We are able to see life changing lessons delivered by Ashtavakra and the respect janaka has on his guru will show how the values indians has towards our teachers hasn't changed from ancient times. A highly recommended read from me
