About this ebook

Shy Entrepreneur Series : Volume -1

We have always been in awe of people who are successful and lead from the front.

However you will often find that, we individually have to make a continuous conscious effort in developing our skill set, by exploring resources available. There is no set course or book out there that can make you a complete leader. So much for the over-hyped and super-expensive MBA programs that just advertise their placement numbers and salaries offered and don't really focus on skills.

This series of books will touch on some aspects that help you decode your weaknesses and give an alternative way of developing a mindset, a way of re-engineering your perception to problem solving to make you a more effective leader. It also uses the B.E.S.T. approach to leadership and certain other subtle processes that help you become a better leader and an entrepreneur.

A very interesting read, to say the least. The concepts spoken about in the book remain with you long after you are done reading it. Some case studies stick with you and equip you to view daily mundane activities with a completely innovative and lateral point of view. A few examples bring to light concepts hidden right under our noses and make us aware about them in a way that in enlightening. Plenty of cases in the book would find relevance in you day to day conversations making them all the more interesting along with having the added advantage of making you sound much more learned than you actually are.

A timely book that helped me immensely. The ideas are not really difficult to implement but our mind is so used to craving for distraction/self doubt that it becomes difficult to continue in entrepreneurship/leadership mode. And that is where the strength of the book lies in. It not only lists down the steps needed but already predicts what kind of obstructions will come up and how to handle those. Asish has really made it fool proof system if you can vow to follow it. Some may believe that the writing mode is bit repetitive in the first part, as can be found in other books. However I believe it is really necessary to convince us in all ways possible. Because everyone knows leadership and entrepreneurship is good just like everyone knows exercise and eating balanced diet are good but no one does them. You really need to be convinced in order to make permanent lifestyle change.

The author has shared his personal startup experience with honesty and concern for the budding entrepreneurs. Its a sincere work. This is invaluable as its brings forth his experience which assists us in avoiding the same pitfalls. The book is very creatively written too. I personally liked the 'audience' categorization, with the use of in-trend words like "bro code" etc.. Very unique and original! If there were several books a budding entrepreneur must read, this will be one of it. I am a budding tech-entrepreneur and got a glimpse of what the journey will be like. Awesome and if the author is reading this review, "A sincere thanks"
