Assessment is an important part of effective teaching and learning. Rita Berry is an associate professor and deputy head of the Department of Curriculum and Instruction at the Hong Kong Institute of Education. Her research interests include assessment, learner autonomy, curriculum development and implementation. She has provided consultancy services, developed programs and published extensively in these areas.
