At First Sight

At First Sight by Joy Ohagwu is a prequel novella for two series: the Asia Bancroft Christian Suspense Series and the New Beginnings Christian Inspirational Series. Undercover police detective, Asia Powers Bancroft, has her “End” declared by drug lord, Carlos Saint Magna. She’s made it her mission to bring him to justice, even if it’s her own version of justice. She’ll have to rely on her God to help her create an “End” that leads to a beginning. Sharon Parsons is trying to “do good” by mentoring underprivileged children in a dangerous neighborhood her parents have warned her away from. Along the way, she is dealing with her love for a man who doesn’t believe as she does. How can she marry a man who hasn’t accepted her God? At First Sight is the perfect lead-in to the two different series. Ms. Ohagwu has introduced believable characters with inspirational stories you want to follow. I really enjoyed this Christian faith based novella and rate it 5 out of 5 stars. I recommend this book to all readers of Christian fiction. I am amazed the author came up with this story dealing with 2 women having 2 different problems in their lives. A great introduction to a new series I am anxious to read.

A prequel that leaves you wanting more. The reader gets a brief introduction to the characters that will carry them into their hearts as they seek God for their future.
