Lexi Blake is one of my favorite authors and I’ve read every book she’s written, so it pains me to give her less than 5 stars and tell you this book is not up to her usual standards. It’s short, boring, and goes by a formula. The characters weren’t even interesting. Disappointed but I will continue to be a fan!

This might be my favorite McKay Taggart Book yet! Javi is everything! And I just love him. He was so befuddled (love that word) about Jules and relationships and Just everything. He is a total Dom, manwhore also, but when he meets Jules, there’s just something about her. She is very helpful to him but she also strikes something in him. She could be his one. The one he wants to try a relationship with. Another AMAZING Lexi Blake story featuring some of my favorite MY guys and girls! Can’t wait for whose story is next!!

Sexy, steamy, and the perfect amount of angst, this book is phenomenal! It’s rare we see female wounded warriors, but Lexi took Jules’s character and not only put her in that position, but she was kick butt too. She’s strong, a little insecure with her disability yet, but with Javier nearby, he shows her all she can be, while she helps him see how love can truly be. I loved catching up with previous characters from this series, and can’t wait to see what Lexi has in store for us next!! This is definitely a must read!!!
