Great depth to the story, fantastically fleshed out and in an original narrative. But an awfully weak ending. It's like cold pizza, where the cheese has turned all waxy.

Deep concepts behind a nice story, in many ways full of valid concepts of what may come to be in the future. A well balanced mix of science and adventure novel. The human aspect is well described on many levels, some hiding deep philosophical concepts. Sometimes a tad long and flat, but good overall.

Couple of physics discrepancies but otherwise a sound read which, as with Stanleys other works, explores the human condition from variant and interesting angles.
