I really enjoyed this book. I'll have to say it's one of my favorites. The characters were wonderfully thought out. I really enjoyed Neva personality to follow through with her own dreams and not go along with what her parents want. She was very accepting and kind to everyone, and that doesn't happen very much these days. I nice change of pace. Zeke is my favorite wounded hero character. He went through terribly pains and he overcame them, and became a man every girl fantasies about. He is a very quiet person, and I think that is what drew me in the most. I became curious as to see if he would change; come out of his 'bubble.' The only thing I wish different about the book was to explain more why the "they" took him and why. Over all this book was funny, exciting and adventurous. A book I could read over and over.

About the author

In her life, Ava Gray has been a clown, a clerk, a savior of stray kittens, and a voice actress, not necessarily in that order. She grew up in a yellow house across from a cornfield, but now she lives in a terracotta adobe house with her husband and two adorable children who generally do as they are told. In this guise, she writes high octane paranormal romances; she also writes romantic science fiction and urban fantasy as Ann Aguirre.
