About the author

B.M. Mote

Balaji Mohan Mote was born on 9th September 1988 at Ambajogai, Dist- Beed (Maharashtra). He has obtained B.Sc. (Ag.) degree from Dr. Panjabrao Deshmukh Krishi Vidyapeeth, (DR. PDKV), Akola in the year 2011 and M.Sc. (Ag.) in Agricultural Meteorology from Navsari Agricultural University, Navsari (Gujarat) with 1st Class in the year 2014. He has published two research papers. He is the author of two books on agricultural meteorology and simulation modeling published by LAMBART Academic publishing, Germany. Presently, he is working as an Asst. Professor of Agricultural Meteorology in N. S. B. College of Agriculture, Markhel that comes under V.N. Marathwada Agricultural University, Parbhani.


D.D. Sahu

D.D. Sahu was born on 8th November 1950 in Orissa. He has obtained his B.Sc. (Ag.) degree from OUAT, Bhubaneswar in 1973 and M.Sc. (Ag.) in Agricultural Meteorology from B. A. College of Agriculture, Anand (Gujarat) in 1977 and Ph.D. in Agricultural Physics from IARI, New Delhi in 1991. He served Gujarat Agricultural University and Junagadh Agricultural University in different capacities for 35 years from 1978 to 2013 and retired on 30-11-2013. He has published more than 35 research papers, 18 popular articles and 20 research bulletins. He attended 18 national and international Seminars, Symposia, workshops etc. He is the author of five books on agricultural meteorology, remote sensing, environmental science, agricultural climatology and a question bank - agrometeorology at glance.
