He and his wife Stephanie, have three children, two cats, and two dogs named Ozzie and Chewie.

Ivan Zamyslov is a Latvian-born Russian artist. Who mainly does cartoon-style illustrations. He loves working on children's books because sometimes the best way to make a good children's book illustration is to draw like a child yourself. Plus, it beats getting a real job.
