Another winner, Ms Adams. Very well developed characters, likable and relatable, carry out the complex story line through growing up memories and up to date action. As always, your writing is clear and direct with a large enough variety in vocabulary to avoid boredom but also without pretension. Trethan and Vanessa had a "thing" going in high school but he messed up and when she left the ranch for college, he figured that was it. But after graduation, she returned to rural Montana only to discover her father had hired Trethan as a hand on his horse ranch. They had a bit of a rough patch while they sorted out misunderstandings and flawed past impressions all while being drawn together more tightly. The clincher which sealed them as a couple came when he was badly injured trying to raise money for her dream of opening an art gallery in town. That convinced them of their mutual need and set up their HEA. This is a heartwarming, steamy read well worth the several hours invested.

It's a good entertaining read, but not very realistic. She has dreams of opening her own gallery but she doesn't work for those goals holding a job to support it financially, she just waits around for something to fund her and it was the guy who worked his butt off trying to back her. She doesn't even dignify what they have by acknowledging the relationship to her father, worried that they would not make it just because the guy had drug and drinking issues in the past. Lucky for them it all turned out well in the end.

Vanessa and Trethan's story was hard fought, but sweet. sometimes love is very complicated even though you know they're the one for you. There were some missing word and few errors, but I would still suggest reading if you love a good cowboy romance ❤
