Years ago, Gray swore off serious relationships with women, but that hasn’t stopped him from casual hook-ups. From the moment he meets her, he recognizes Jenna as trouble, the kind of woman who wants permanence in a relationship. The kind of woman to avoid.
But the promise and Gray’s resolve don’t stand a chance when close confinement, personal revelations and Jenna’s need to prove she still has it ignite their mutual attraction.
Barbara Barrett skipped a midlife crisis by writing romance novels at night when she wasn’t at her day job as human resources analyst for Iowa State Government. The first took longer to complete than she likes to admit and remains unpublished. But after that, the words flowed, especially after she joined the local chapter of Romance Writers of America.
Her first book was published in 2012. She has now published eleven full-length contemporary romance novels and two novellas. More recently, she has published nine cozy mysteries in her Mah Jongg Mystery series and seven in her Nailed It Home Reno Mysteries series. This book is the second of “The Matchmaking Motor Coach” trilogy, which she wrote as a love letter to her hometown of Burlington, Iowa. The motor coach customized by Aubrey Carpenter and Mitch McKenna in this book is the linch pin of this series as it unites the three sisters with the McKenna brothers.
Barbara is married to the man she met her senior year at college. They have two grown children, eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
