About this ebook

The problems with the Bible that New Testament scholar Bart Ehrman discussed in his bestseller Misquoting Jesus—and on The Daily Show with John Stewart, NPR, and Dateline NBC, among others—are expanded upon exponentially in his latest book: Jesus, Interrupted. This New York Times bestseller reveals how books in the Bible were actually forged by later authors, and that the New Testament itself is riddled with contradictory claims about Jesus—information that scholars know… but the general public does not. If you enjoy the work of Elaine Pagels, Marcus Borg, John Dominic Crossan, and John Shelby Spong, you’ll find much to ponder in Jesus, Interrupted.

In the book, "Finding the Real Jesus" by Lee Strobel, Ehrman's pseudo-scholarship is addressed. The vast majority of the "contradictions" found in the New Testament are merely variations such as synonyms and the like. Not a single Christian doctrine comes even remotely close to being contradicted. Anything but the whole truth is not truth-- it is false, a lie.

Fails to grasp any concept of why the bible was written or even by whom and why God chose those men... Untrustworthy because the author may be a 'scholar' but knows nothing of true biblical faith or even Jesus himself. Yes, such 'scholars' exist and serve the enemy of the Bible's true author... Satan loves to use such 'scholars' to confuse people... Don't be misled by pretenders - read the bible prayerfully and seek the real author (God) and ALL the 'contradictions' will vanish...
