About this ebook

AJ Richardson is living the good life. Thanks to his longtime lover, NBA star Dray Jones, he has a gorgeous townhouse in New Orleans, plenty of frequent-flier miles, and an MBA he’s never had to use. Built on a deep and abiding love, their hidden relationship sustains them both. But when Dray’s teammates begin to ask insinuating questions, Dray puts their doubts to rest by marrying Judi, a beautiful and ambitious woman. Judi knows nothing about Dray's “other life.” Or does she?

In Basketball Jones, E. Lynn Harris explores the consequences of loving someone who is desperate to conform. Filled with nonstop twists and turns, it will keep readers riveted from the first page to the last.

Being a basketball player and fan I loved it. The literature showcased a different- and needed- twist on homosexual life then what is generally depicted. The masculinity of the main characters was great, the storyline was well written and intriguing. My only gripe was the seemingly rushed ending. I wanted more closure between the two main characters. It almost felt as if a part deux was in order. Overall, the book was a above average read. -T.F

Love the author, however the story took awhile to get interesting. There could have been more at the end. I would say this was an "okay" read.

I received this book as a gift the day it came out and finished it in two days. The twist and turns were great and I truly wish it was longer. I definitely had to give this book a "5" rating.
