About this eBook

One of the most famous Batman stories of all time is offered for the first time in hardcover in this special twentieth-anniversary edition. This is the unforgettable work that forever changed Batman's world, adding a new element of darkness with its unflinching portrayal of The Joker's twisted psyche. Writer Alan Moore, acclaimed author of WATCHMEN and V FOR VENDETTA, offers his take on the disturbing relationship between The Dark Knight and his greatest foe. The Clown Prince of Crime has never been more ruthless than in this brutal tale. This special new edition also includes a story written and exquisitely illustrated by Brian Bolland.

Capturing the eternal struggle between the greatest pair in comics, The Killing Joke lays out their relation like no other. Two men at constant odds come closer than ever as Alan Moore humanizes these characters, and cause us to question our own morality and choices. This edition also benefits from the masterful coloring of the original artist Brian Bolland, and is worth it to see the world envisioned in his colors.

A classic then; a classic now. BATMAN: The Killing Joke will undoubtedly take its rightful place in the annals of graphic storytelling as one of, if not a watershed moment in the medium where "everything changed." A must read for any Batman / Joker fan who wishes to delve much deeper into what indeed makes these 2 personalities "click." Any library is incomplete without this on their bookshelf.

Iv wanted to read this story for years now I was so hyped up that I finally bought it after so long.. Then I read it and was sort of disappointed.. I'm not saying is wasn't good it was I just had expected more. If your a big (Batman/Joker) fan like me then then its still worth reading at the very least u can say you've read it before
