About this ebook
Benjamin Bunny, the cousin of Peter Rabbit, was inspired in a real rabbit, the first that belonged to Beatrix Potter. “He is an abject coward”, she wrote, “but believes in bluster, could stare our old dog out of countenance, chase a cat that has turned tail.” He was also a very handsome rabbit.
This book contains many views of Fawe Park, in the Lake District, that Beatrix Potter sketched while on holiday. It was first published in 1904.

About the author
Over a hundred years, an English girl called Beatrix Potter wrote a story in a letter to the son of a friend, a boy named Noel. Everyone liked both the story and the drawings of Beatrix that she ended up writing a book that became known worldwide. After this over twenty books followed, all with stories of animals, and have become so admired that from then until now have never been out of print.
