About this ebook

"I love this Beauty and the Beast story that Skye Warren has crafted. She puts a twist to this classic tale that makes it different and deliciously erotic." - Nina's Literary Escape

Once upon a time there was a beautiful college student...

Erin cleans Mr. Morris's house twice a week to pay her tuition. The reclusive ex-soldier intimidates her, but she can't help but feel sympathy for him. Then she walks in on him touching himself, and she has much darker, much more sensual feelings.

And a beastly professor with scars he can't hide...

Blake Morris knows he's scarred both inside and out. He's reclusive and surly. Nowhere near good enough for the smart and beautiful young woman who cleans his house.

He receives an offer to return to his alma mater as an associate professor. This is his chance to reenter the world--and to be worthy of the woman he dreams about. He never expected to see her sitting in his classroom on the first day of the semester.

I decided to read because it was one of the few books that DID NOT SAY book 1 of 2 or 3 or whatever. Only to find that it was not just one book. Anyway, there is no real story line. Same as with all the others "female writers" .. The writer hopes that by throwing in sex on every second page you'd loose sight of the fact that the book is rubbish. Time to go back to real books.

How the story narrated is OK. The flow between sentences is smooth and coherent. The plot and the story, though... oh dear Lord. Maybe I'm at fault for expecting more from something that's clearly written to satiate the sexual thirst of its readers, but it's 90% sex scenes. The plot develops way too slow, the conflicts never really reach boiling point.

I loved the story and sexual descriptions. I did not like the supposed ending. It wasn't cut off mid idea like some books but it was still bad... " Oh you want to know how this ends? Buy the next book." I feel like I was used, I also don't like how Blake says he will never let her leave then does a 180 in the two pages before it ends.. stupid.
