This book was entertaining and amusing, with an exciting plot, but as with the previous two books, there were too many, unnecessarily graphic and unrealistically multi-orgasmic sex scenes for me, which seemed more like a highly charged male fantasy. They undermined my enjoyment of the main story.

4.5 stars I have wanted Falden's story since he was introduced in book one (since he in the leader of the Lumerians). I really like this series and the concept of the Lumerians. I won't lie - it took me a bit to get into this book. We are thrown into this meeting between two people unknowingly working towards the same cause (I felt that a little lead up to the meeting would have smoothed out the process). Why Falden was going by a "Player's Handbook to dating" when it wasn't actually a blind date, was a bit confusing. BUT a Porche and the introduction of the maju paste quickly brought the story speeding along and capturing my attention (making it hard to put the book down). The danger and excitement that comes with a Blood Market is really brought to light, as the Caldorians and Lumerians detest the practices of those involved in the Market. It was great seeing characters from previous books and I love the effects of the maju paste on Earth women. I am looking forward to the next book, I have a feeling that Taeger is going to be awesome.

Isabella Serrano, investigative reporter is working under cover for Caldorian Commander Sevron Bashall. She is trying to ferret out leads from black marketers on Earth as to the whereabouts of the Commander’s brother. Meeting her contact at a restaurant she’s shocked when she sees the biggest Caldorian ever, her blind date! With her best friend Jessica as back up, and keeping tabs on Isabella from the bar the fun is about to begin! Falden Corshival, Lumerian Knight is also working undercover, trying to find out who is stealing and selling Caldorian technology. Isabella is his contact on this night. As the evening progresses lines like this from Falden had me rolling in laughter “your hair looks like it was styled with a weedwacker” Falden has no idea what he’s doing and using Nice Guy’s Guide to the Hook up ain't helping. The stage is set for a wild time with these two. Another fantastic read from the author, and in the series. Lots of action, adventure, intrigue, and scorching hot romance all wrapped up to go! The restaurant scene reminded me of one of those old time screw ball comedies! Loved it! Guaranteed HEA I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
