short story not really a novella. Insta romance. Heroine is in a sort of witness protection situation, the D.A. hires the hero, who happens to be a bear shifter to protect her. There really isn't enough details in the story for me to have enjoyed it but the sex was hot. I wish there was more to the story, more character buildup, and more plot but I guess you get what you pay for. 🤷🏾‍♀️

I agree with the other reviews, it has a great storyline, but the story was too rushed and the end came abruptly. It could have been 3 times longer.

Liked the storyline and was just starting to get good and it just ends. I wanted to read the rest. Did Linnie testify? Did she and Cain stay together?
