This enjoyable, quick-read shifter romance novella is about a hardworking & attractive bear shifter (Dr. Joel McManus) who chose to go in the academic field & became a professor but he always felt there was something lacking in his life then he comes into contact with a female professor (Dr. Keira Jetson) and the story begins from here. The plot is quite intriguing & the characters are interesting & well-developed. There is: Bear shifters, humans, friendship, twists & turns, drama, attractions, memories, surprises, friendly advice, insecurities, a little steam, happiness & a satisfying ending. I enjoyed reading this shifter romance novella & would recommend it

Keira & Joel's story is a wonderful addition to the series. They have both started new jobs for different reasons. Keira wonders if moving halfway across the world was the right decision but meeting Joel may just make everything worthwhile. A tale of friendship, putting yourself out there, passion and finding happiness. I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book.
