A entertaining quick-read shifter romance & a enjoyable addition to the series. The plot is quite interesting & the characters have good chemistry with realistic emotions. There is: a young woman (Claire) who is basically angry with everything & comes into contact with a male bear shifter (Raul) who is pledged to serve her for a year as an apology from the bear shifter clan & he is also angry with the unusual situation & at a mates desertion, bear shifters, a sweet baby (Angelle), well-meaning manipulative parents, some twists, intrigue, confrontations, apologies, attractions, compromises, verbal banter, declarations, some steam, love, & a interesting happy conclusion.
