In my opinion is, as hard as being a single mum, Marcy had a lucky escape when her son's father ran when she fell pregnant. She is very, very good at what she did but doesn't want to take on too much as she still needs to dedicate time to her son. When she is approached by a prominent family she feels she simply cannot take on another function. The family, however, are determined that she be the one who plans the party even if it means the son, Blade, has to offer to babysit to free up some of her time. Blade knows she is his mate, now all he has to do is convince her that he is someone she can trust. I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book.

I really enjoyed reading this quick-read shifter romance, it has a interesting well-paced plot with appealing characters. It is about a talented event planner (Marcy Grant) who after giving birth to a beautiful baby boy (Olivier) is abandoned by her fiancée (Dave), she is approached by a rather demanding woman (Bella) to plan an event which Marcy declines, Bella then promptly sends her step-son (a lion shifter, Blade Berkley) & the attractions flare. There is: drama, manipulations, memories, jealousy, attractions, denial, longings, realization, love, verbal banter & a sweet happy ending.

I enjoyed reading this short story, it has a good storyline. The interaction and chemistry between the characters is wonderful. I can't wait for more from this author. I received this book as a FREE ARC copy to read and I voluntarily leave this review.
