The story by Jack London Before Adam is told on behalf of a man in the beginning of twentieth century who had had dissociated personality from when he was a child: every night he had bright dreams where he was a distant ancestor of someone who had lived hundreds of thousands years ago. These realistic visions scared the main hero. And only after he had grown up and received education he could reconstruct the life of his alter ego on the base of the fragments of his dreams.
