About this eBook

Summer was mine once. Leaving her behind to go to war was unforgivable. I survived... barely. Though my body is broken. I never expected to see her at the veteran’s support office.

There are a million reasons I don't deserve her. I fell in with a bad crowd when I got back home. Worse than she can imagine. They’re still out to get me.

My love is dangerous. And my secrets are deadly.

Before She Was Mine is a powerful, emotion filled book. This is a brother's best friend/second chance romance. It is jam packed with angst, pain, regret, heartbreak, drama and danger. The characters are complex, the attraction strong and chemistry hot. Dayton and Summer's story is moving and deeply engaging. I really enjoyed this book but I did feel that some things were left unaddressed.

This is my favorite book, hands down!! This book touches on something near and dear to me. Veterans and PTSD but the story is heartfelt, relatable and sweet. The characters are not too overplayed and well developed. Little cliffhanger at the end but not too disappointing.

Heartbreaking to Heartwarming Sadness, sweetness. First love. Forbidden love. Hot. Loved this story. Summer and Dayton are great together and their journey is a long, windy path full of debris but they make it. Can't wait to read more about them and the others in their bookiverse.
