They've never actually met.

When Olivia tries to show her friends the hunky new man in her life, Fraser's online dating profile has vanished, andOlivia fears the worst. Frustrated and wounded, she decides she's going to confront Fraser – face to face, in Scotland.

But when she arrives, things don't go exactly as planned. Worse still, Fraser doesn't seem to have any idea who she is...

This is the first book that I've read by this author and I'm happy that I did it! Mistletoe Magic in the Highlands has a bit of romance, many hillarious situations and lovable characters, and two very special characters - Liv and Effie - that support each other and make the best of each one to be exposed. It's a story that can be read just as an entertaining rom-com or it could also be seen as a story that makes one think about human behavior and the importance to fight to be heard.

So, it starts with the main character, Liv, and her car crash of a love life which really reaches its low point when 'plastic Stan' comes on the scene. Thankfully, she has her lovely sister to buoy her spirits with comments like "Worse things happen in Wetherspoons", I mean, what more support could a heart broken woman need. Honestly, by this point I was belly laughing. From there we move swiftly on to where she meets a highland cow called Ginger, need I say more. But the hilarity continues

About the author

Bella Osborne has been jotting down stories as far back as she can remember but decided that 2013 would be the year that she finished a full length novel. In 2016, her debut novel, It Started At Sunset Cottage, was shortlisted for the Contemporary Romantic Novel of the Year and RNA Joan Hessayon New Writers Award. Bella's stories are about friendship, love and coping with what life throws at you. She likes to find the humour in the darker moments of life and weaves these into her stories. Bella believes that writing your own story really is the best fun ever, closely followed by talking, eating chocolate, drinking fizz and planning holidays. She lives in the Midlands, UK with her lovely husband and wonderful daughter, who thankfully, both accept her as she is (with mad morning hair and a penchant for skipping).
