About this ebook

*A brand new companion to the Last Kingdom series, Uhtred’s Feast, is available to pre-order now*

War of the Wolf is the 11th book in the epic and bestselling series that has gripped millions.

A hero will be forged from this broken land.

As seen on Netflix and BBC around the world.

Lord Uhtred of Bebbanburg knows that peace is far from reach. Though he has won the battle for his ancestral home, rebellion looms in Mercia and invading Norsemen appear at every turn.

With the country in turmoil, Uhtred comes face-to-face with King Skoll, a violent Norseman leading an army of úlfheðinn, or wolf warriors, hellbent on seizing a kingdom – and killing any in his path.

Surrounded and outnumbered by new enemies, Uhtred must call on all his skill and courage to survive, and prevent his beloved Northumbria from falling to the Viking hordes.

I think I have read or listened to every one of Bernards books. Just class. As a fellow stinking, wild, Scot who threatens the Union I still loved it :)

The Series of "The Last Kingdom" began with a 5★ rating for Book 1, had a couple of 4★s - but Never less than a 4★! Then BC raised the game to finish on 5★s for Books 10, 11 & 12 ! Just Wonderfu.... Not Finished Yet ??!! There's a No.13 ?! Well, Stab Me Vitals ! Bring It On !! Oh Glory Be... BC's gonna Sharpe.n Uhtred of Bebbanburg into another 18/20 Book Mega-Saga ! And, like almost Everyone else who started in the candle-lit years of the 1st Novel: The Last Kingdom - when Uhtred was a boy named Osbert, I'll keep on buying, in Book, e-Book and even Audiobook Formats ! Then I'll probably wait for the "Special Edition Box-set" of the first 6 DVD's (And doubtless MP4 Digital Video file !) which I'll get for Xmas from my adult children - and who will then borrow them on Boxing/St.Stephen's Day and spend 6 months passing between the 4 of them ! In reality though I won't really mind, as it's More recruits for the BC fan world and something better to talk about next time we're out !!😀

I am a big fan so this didn't disappoint. As with Sharpe you get sucked and want more and more. As always the characters are instantly recognisable and you have trouble putting the bugger down. Thank you BC.
