not sure if Ms Feehan wrote this book herself or she has a ghost writer or new editor but what a BIG let down :‑X honestly, the excerpt of Dark Hope was waaaay better than the entire Betrayal Road novel...this book was #basura

I second the previous review regarding a "ghost writer". This book didn't feel like a Feehan at all. it seemed very disjointed. I have all of her books and usually love them all. Disappointed.

The character driven premise is intriguing, dramatic and gritty; the romance is impassioned ; the characters are determined, animated and stubborn.
