Absolutely a 5 star read and a wonderful addition to the Memory House series. This third book in the Memory House series by Bette Lee Crosby is another heart-warming story. I am absolutely entranced by the writing and I feel as thought I am a part of the story and that I'm living it right along with the characters. As do all of her books, this book once again has a magical quality about it. It is not overdone, but just the right does to make you believe. This is the story of Max Martinelli who studied architecture in Paris and come home to the United States, leaving behind her beau, who she thought would follow her home. Max is heartbroken and yearns for Julien. A few years later, she feels the need to confront Julien to find out why he never followed her. She books a trip to Paris and off she goes to find her lost love. Sometimes things in the past should remain in the past and you should look at what is staring you in the face and move forward with your life. Take a ride on this magical journey and see what transpires. Remember, to take a box of tissue with you on your magic carpet. Bravo Bette Lee Crosby on another fabulous book.

This is a wonderful book that I highly recommend reading. Does our heart remember things clearly or just how we wish them to be? This is the 3rd book in the Memory series and while they are all stand alone books, I do suggest reading this as a series. You will come to love the characters that carry over in each book. Each character is so well developed that they seem true to life. This focuses on Max and a love that she needs to find closure for. She is like so many women where what we believe and what is so can sometimes be so different. It is also about second chances at love and finding yourself in the process. Bette Lee Crosby has a way of storytelling that transcends time and place. You will be there. You will hear the sounds and see the sights in your minds eye. This is an incredible series by an amazing storyteller. I suggest reading this and all of her books. You will regret not picking up her books. Amazing read! I loved every single moment. I laughed and I cried , but I felt emotion, true emotion. Isn't that what a great author should do, make you feel? Bette does this with grace. Read this book! A thousand stars.

Bette Lee Crosby never surprises me with her wonderful stories and this one was no exception. It was wonderful from start to finish. A sequel in the Memory House collection, book number 3, is about Max and her memories of time in Paris. The title is perfect for this story. We all at times remember things a bit different than they truly are. Max had to go back to Paris to get closure before she could move on with her life. She did find out threw a lot of things that happened to her that things were not as great as she thought. I felt for her and enjoyed as she went through all she did to find true love and happiness. Annie from a previous book is Max's best friend and worries when she can't get a hold of her but Oliver and Ophelia try to reassure her but Annie is truly worried. What will Max find. Will things be as she thought they were or are her memories of Julien from the excitement of a memory that was not what she thought at all? Will she find true love in Paris or back at home? This is a truly wonderful story of love, loss and happiness that will last a lifetime. The Memory House collection is a wonderful series and you will not be disappointed in any of them. As a matter of fact you will not be disappointed in any of Ms Crosby's books. This is a page turner that you have to read after the 1st two books and I'm so looking forward to the next book in this series. It's one of those that I will hate to see end. I received a copy of this book in exchange for my honest review. It in no way reflex's my review. I truly loved this book from the first page to the last. A great story.
