Second Volume of Approach to Music: the Indian way continues to share knowledge about the Swara and the influence of swara in Raga, scale and in a phrase. It also speaks about Tala dashapranas (the 10 important parts of tala), 72 mela system. Its given a new approach with colorful illustrations to understand and remember all the 72 names and its swaras. There are Konnakkol exercises Jatiswara and Varna which is a transition from the Practice music to Performance music.

About the author

Bhavana Pradyumna is an accomplished Carnatic Musician and a Bharata Natyam Dancer. She is the founder President of Carnatic Conservatory of Paris, France (CCParis), an internationally recognised organisation promoting Indian Music and Dance. Having a Masters degree in Carnatic Music from the University of Madras, she has worked as an artist affiliate at the Emory University Atlanta, USA from 2011 to 2014. She has introduced for the very first time in the by introducing Indian music and dance in a french Conservatory thus creating history. She is the author of revolutionary learning book for children called Children's Carnatic released globally on Amazon, Google in 3 International languages English, Spanish, French and Indian languages Sanskrit, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada. She has rendered many concerts in the last 14 years in India, USA and Europe, being an All India Radio artist, entitled 'Ramanuja Paaduka Sevaka' for her contribution in the field of Carnatic Music. Bhavana also provides Vocal support to Bharata Natyam, Kuchipudi and Mohiniyattam Arangetrams and programs. She provides online Carnatic Music and Veena classes for all ages.


She is a recepient of Global Changemakers 2020 award and SIWAA 2020 "Youth Icon" award for her contributions to Indian culture, Music and Dance.
