Hara's Legacy

There was very little science fiction in this story, it was, really, just an excuse for soft porn, from beginning to end. The first third of the story, which described the emotions of each family member, was also very repetitive. I would not have read to the end if I'd had to pay for the book.

What a delicious treat this story was! in places it reminded me of other stories I've read but only like a brief nod or tip of the hat in passing, never blatant or obvious. Just enough to tell me D'Arc was writing from a solid grounding in the classics of the sci fi genre. My one criticism would be that it seemed to take longer than necessary to get to the meat of the action. The writer spent a long time setting up the menage, especially at the beginning. I could have done with one or two fewer sex scenes so to move toward the denouement a bit faster. I must congratulate the author for her deft handling of the ending. Where many of the indie writers I read would have finished with a cliffhanger, D'Arc tied the story to the next in the series as easily as C J Cherryh or S M Stirling or others of their caliber do.This was a real pleasure to read, Very professionally done. Can't wait to get the next one.

loved this story couldn't put it down. it was hot but not raunchy. Made me think if aliens took over how would we continue our life's and what would change how we value our beliefs. what would normal be like afterwards. Great read!
