Erika Wilde and Carly Phillips are absolutely 2 of my favorite authors ever. I've been reading each of their books from the moment I discovered them in the bookstore. Put Erika Wilde and Carly Phillips together and you get absolute book magic! Big Shot pulled me in from the very first page and quickly had me falling in love with all the characters. I love that Natalie is such a strong woman. Yes she wanted to work Premier Realty, and when she is told no she busted her ass to become one of the best in the business with another company. So good in fact that she is beating Wes to several major sells. Wes and Natalie have known each other forever, and he has been attracted to his best friend's little sister for years. So much so that when Natalie wanted to work with their company, Wes kills the idea because he doesn't think he can be around her without acting on said attraction. Let me just say I absolutely adored Wes from the moment he appeared on the page. He is smoking hot, successful, and honestly made me swoon a few times when he and Natalie were together. I loved Wes and Natalie together. I really liked that they had truly been friends when they were kids before the attraction to one another got in the way. They had amazing chemistry together and I knew once they acted upon their mutual attraction it could be explosive, and it absolutely was. I don't know that I've ever laughed so hard at a couple as I did Natalie and Wes, especially during Wes and his friends' poker game. I knew after all Natalie's antics, Wes would be at his wits end and finally act on his attraction. Smoking hot sex between Natalie and Wes totally and completely steamed up my kindle screen as I read, and it only got hotter the more time they spent together. I also loved that Wes had a sweet side that he really didn't show to anyone other than Natalie. Wes gave me all the feels when he showed it wasn't just about sex with Natalie. I'm pretty sure I say this is my new favorite book each time Erika and Carly release a book together, and I'm pretty sure that will never change. With each new book, I fall in love with the new characters and they become my new favorites. I will say that after Wes and Natalie, Erika and Carly have their work cut out for them, as Big Shot was one of the best books they have ever written. I highly recommend reading Big Shot to anyone who enjoys a hot, sexy, and funny romance. Rating: 5 Stars Review copy provided by publisher

OMG! This book was freaking awesome! I just could not get enough of Wes and Natalie! Between Wes' cocky attitude and Natalie's sassy mouth these two were perfect together! Natalie Prescott has been in love with Wes Sinclair since she was a young girl...after all he is her brother Connor's best friend. Wes has been attracted to Natalie since he was 18 years old but has never acted on it because you never break the golden rule...don't mess with your best friend's little sister. When Natalie wanted to be hired on at Connor, Wes and Max's company, Premier Realty, Wes fought hard for her not to be hired. He didn't think he could handle being that close to her every day. This causes Natalie to devote all of her time and energy into being the best luxury real estate agent in Chicago, even beating Wes at his own game. When Natalie "steals" her third sale out from under Wes for the month, he is not a happy camper. That night Wes sees Natalie at the bar they hang out at. They start talking and have their usual back and forth smart a$$ banter that leads to underlying sexual tension. Wes decides to challenge Natalie to a bet. GAME ON! OMG, these two characters were so fun! They both are mouthy, cocky and so full of lust for each other! The story line these two went through was so fun and sexy I just couldn't put this book down! I loved how Natalie was finally able to get her man after all these years! Awesome job Carly Phillips and Erika Wilde!

Working that magic that they do so well, authors Carly Phillips and Erika Wilde have done it again. Being the seasoned writers that they are, working together just seems to bring out the best in both of these ladies, as shown by their latest, BIG SHOT. With no positive examples of love to draw on in his life, Wes Sinclair is most definitely not in the game of love for the long haul. Oh, he enjoys his fair share of women, but he's absolutely not looking for a happily ever after. And, while he's long had the hots for his best friend's little sister, Wes knows that nothing can ever come of it. Yes, Natalie Prescott is smoking hot, and yes, she pushes Wes' buttons like no other, but Wes knows better than to break the Bro Code, not even for Natalie. But, wait, there's more... Yep, so much more. Because, sassy, spunky, realtor on the rise Natalie knows just how to get a rise out of Wes, in more ways than one. When a friendly little wager ends up with Natalie at Wes' mercy for two weeks, how in the world are these two not going to give in to the passion that has been smoldering between them for forever? I really like Wes. Sure, he's is a player, but it doesn't take him long to open his eyes and figure out exactly what's important to him (a little kick in the pants from best friend Connor notwithstanding). He's always viewed Natalie as the pesky little sister, the 'frenemy' that he enjoys sparring with, but seeing Natalie as the capable, successful, passionate young woman that she's become is an eye-opener for him. Keeping it casual as usual just isn't going to work, because the heart wants what the heart wants. And, Natalie, before too long, is what Wes' heart wants. Natalie is a breath of fresh air. She's determined to have the life that she wants and the success that she deserves, and she's not waiting around for anyone to hand these things to her. She's loved Wes for as long as she can remember, but is not fooling herself into thinking that he's the one, because she knows him so well. But casual flings aren't for everyone, and that hold that Wes has on her heart isn't about to let Natalie do the easy breezy thing. I love that she is strong enough to pick herself up and forge ahead, even while nursing a fair bit of heartbreak. The sizzle between Wes and Natalie is white-hot, but it's the humor, the friendship, the easiness of their relationship, as things progress, that really make me enjoy them so much. Carly and Erika have done a lovely job of showing their bad boy just how sweet surrender can be, no matter who's giving in. 4.5 steamy, sassy, sweet stars for BIG SHOT. This is definitely one to add to your TBR list.
