A very compelling book about a post-apocalyptic landscape. "Bird Box" brings a new spin on the genre - with great pacing, characterisation and plotline. Without giving too much away - ideal for zombie lovers but original enough to be fresh. Don't start reading with little time to spare - you won't be able to put it down!

I like that the book provides more of an explanation about the creatures than the film. I would have like to have heard what occured from Tom's perspective into the second visit outside. I also would have like to have read more about the deaths as we had grown close to the characters. Overall I enjoyed the book.

An amazingly original horror/thriller. A deadly thing that can never be looked upon and therefore explained. If you don't open your eyes you are safe. However, if you don't open your eyes how do you know where you are and who or what is right before you.
