With the help of a surveillance camera in a French sports equipment shop, investigators manage to identify the wetsuit victims. They turn out to be two, young, Syrian twin sisters living in an infamous refugee camp in Calais, France. But the surveillance tape also shows a suspicious man who seems to be very interested in the young girls.

Her Selma Eliassen series was lauded by critics, and in 2017, the first book in the series starring bone expert Josefine Jespersen, "The Devil’s Work", was released.
