Born and raised in Washington, DC; Michelle Carey developed a love for creative writing during her elementary school years. She discovered her passion for writing screenplays soon thereafter. Michelle is a published poet. Her pen name is ZETAZEN.
Michelle holds a Bachelor of Science in Management, a Master of Science in Human Resources Management, and an M.B.A., from University of Maryland University College, and an M.F.A. in Creative Writing from National University.
She is a Certified Holistic Health & Wellness Coach and an avid bowler who bowls on a ranked Underground Bowling Association (UBA) team.
Michelle is a member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Inc., and the Alpha Sigma Lambda National Honor Society with a 4.0 GPA.
She currently resides in the Washington, DC area with her husband, children and dogs.
