This is the third book in this enjoyable series I'm devouring. Each book stands alone. This wonderful story is about Maggie Baldwin a witch whose is being stalked decides to hire Kane Zusak, a cat shifter private detective. She discovers her husband; Scott is a serial murderer and that he died and is now possible haunting her. As more murders occur Maggie and Kane work together to solve the murders. What occurs is an intriguing murder mystery and a romantic paranormal story. ARC

Some murders, a murderer, a ghost, a dead ex husband, and a shifter with a witch, some steam and a mystery, yep this book has it all. There's a mystery to be solved and it's a broken hearted shifter that solves it as he tries to protect his recently found fated mate. Kane is a protective cat shifter that'll do anything for his mate. Maggie is a human witch that is smart and falls head over heals with Kane. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

I enjoyed this story with its drama, danger, surprises and action. Basically Maggie is having issues and hires Kane to figure out what is going on. Que the drama and the fun. Enjoyed the characters and the story as it made me laugh.
