Great story!! Jake Dallas has become the very thing he hunts. Instead of dying at the Marquis, he is turned into a Djinn. Losing everything again and having to start a new life over as a monster. This new life has its advantages, but it comes at a cost. Amazing read, this is a great series. Could be read as a standalone, but referencing to characters and events from the previous books. You will get more out of the storyline if read in series order. I highly enjoyed this story from Ariel. A bad boy romance, heart of stone starved of love. Dallas used to be a Hunter, but now he's on the brink of death in an alley after being bitten by a vampire. Unexpectedly, Midnight, a Djinn, comes to his rescue, and everything in Dallas' world is suddenly flipped upside down. This story has plenty of action, romance, and steam, ending in a cliffhanger. Very highly recommended. I received a copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Engaging enemy to lover story that is about Jake Dallas and Midnight. Jake a monster hunter gets turned into a Djinn during a battle and taken in by Midnight a Djinn. This engaging story is about how Dallas struggles with the change and his feelings toward Midnight. Will Dallas become their deadly enemy? I loved the characters and reading their romance, the action and drama was interesting, the story was well written in this copy I've received and that I volunteer to read and review.
