About this ebook

Mirror, mirror, on the wall... who's the baddest (w/b)itch of all?

I wasn't ever into fortune telling. Thought it was all B.S.

But a new witch showed up in town... and she's offered to teach me a few things...

I had a little time on my hands. So I figured... what the hell? Why not?

But what I saw when I gazed into that damn crystal...

I saw my own end... my death... my final death.

And the witch tells me that once it's divinized, it shall come to pass.

You want to know what I have to say about that?

F*** that S***!

Bloody Fortune is the ninth book in The Fury of a Vampire Witch. You've met Mercy before in The Legacy of a Vampire Witch and The Blood Witch Saga. She's fought against devils and demons, insidious witches, and old-world vampires. When she returns to Exeter, where she grew up as a girl, she'll find enemies even bigger and badder than anything she's ever faced before.

A great series for fans of the True Blood / Sookie Stackhouse novels or the Underworld franchise to sink their fangs into. The Fury of a Vampire Witch features a dark and twisty romance, action that could even get a vampire's heart pumping, and a snarky badass heroine.

It seems as though Mr. Monroe's imagination doesn't like Mercy very much, what with all the he// he puts her through. However, I as a reader, am thrilled for it! This is book 9 and it's just as fun and entertaining as book 1. I'm not spoiling much about this masterpiece except to say that our dear Mercy transgressed back to a baby vamp. She could walk in sunlight though thanks to Nico. So she really has to rely on her witchy ways. Plus Lucifer is on the loose. What could go wrong?? How about EVERYTHING. It's also a nice little nod to Mr. Monroe's Sebastian Winters series.

It was a close call to the end of Mercy Brown when a seer predicts Mercy’s demise by a “blur”. Who we later learn that blur’s identity. Intriguing. Edgy. Strategic and clever. There were some comedic quips Mercy makes about the author but all in all Mercy finds herself in yet another pickle. I’m curious to see how Nico and the celestial beings help Mercy out of this mess. Sad and powerful ending as we lose one of our own. I won’t spoil and say who - you will just have to read and find out.

Mercy is on her way to meet a coven at a café because she heard about a witch being there and wants to meet her. Raelin Noor, known for her expertise in divination, has Mercy intrigued, but what Raelin shows Mercy in her crystal ball, has Mercy scrambling to find a solution. This story has plenty of action and anger, ending with a cliffhanger. Very highly recommended. I received a copy of this book in a box set via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
