Blown Away

Holly Day is keeping me entertain with these quick, sass filled romances. I'm getting all types of genres and this one with shifter/alpha/omega was a nice break to get totally immerse for a bit. I love Espen and Arvid. Their meeting was frightening and violent but once Espen took care of the threat, the guys got a chance to get to know each other. Their banter was funny and I think bird and bear was an entertaining match. Nice and sweet ending. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

I liked Blown Away by Holly Day. I was a little bit confused on why only the alpha could feel the omega's feelings, but the omega couldn't feel the alpha's, but otherwise, I thought it was a cute short story. Espen and Arvid's Story . . . Espen Urso is not happy to have to go out in a terrible storm to shoo away some trespassing alpha shifters. But it is his job to defend his territory and protect the people. When he confronts the trespassers, he sees they have injured a little bird. Arvid Rai is an omega running from a group of alphas. One who grabbed him broke his wing, so he cannot fly to escape. But staying with the bear who rescues him is safer than having the other alphas continue after him, so he is willing to go with the bear who takes him home. But Espen discovers the little bird is an omega shifter. He knows having an omega around will be a problem. Can he keep the little bird safe? Or is his territory going to be overrun with shifters now that an omega is here? This was a cute story, especially as the bear and the bird got to know each other better.
