About this eBook

Rupert didn't especially want to be a prince. And he certainly never asked to be the second son of a royal line that really didn't need a spare. So he was sent out to slay a dragon and prove himself-a quest straight out of legend. But he also discovered the kinds of things legends tend to leave out, as well as the usual demons, goblins, the dreaded Night Witch-and even worse terrors hidden in the shadows of Darkwood.
Rupert did find a fiery dragon-and a beautiful princess to rescue. But the dragon turned out to be a better friend than anyone back at the castle, and with the evil of Darkwood spreading, Rupert was going to need all the friends he could get.

Loved the intro: 'This isn't one of the them'. For those who love opera's, this is one of them! Full of heroes, villains, swordplay, drama and humor. I don't know how many times I've readed this or the Deathstalker series but I just don't seem to get tired of reading these over and over again!

A very much non-standard fairy tale. Contains humor, terror, a High Warlock, A Princess, a Prince, a 30 ft dragon that has two gas attacks in the King's Courtroom, a talking unicorn that is a logical, sensible coward unless he's angry, Traitors, a magical castle that somewhat resembles the Doctor's Tardis, a South Wing that has been missing for 32 years. If you love non standard stories that take the old ways of doing things and turns em on their ear, man, is this a book for you. On a scale of 1 to 5, I give this book a 97.
