After years in marketing, Blythe Gifford started writing seriously after a layoff. Ten years and one layoff later, she sold to the Harlequin Historical line. Set in England and Scotland of the 14th to 16th centuries, her books usually include real historical events and characters. Jenni Fletcher writes Historical Romance, YA and F1 sports romances. She has been nominated for 6 Romantic Novel Awards and has won the Shorter Romantic Fiction award twice, in 2020 and 2024. She grew up in Scotland and Somerset, has a PhD on some deeply unromantic aspects of early twentieth century fiction, and now lives in the north of England with her family and one extremely hairy dog. She also teaches creative writing at Bishop Grosseteste University.
Amanda McCabe wrote her first romance at sixteen – an historical epic starring her friends as the characters, written secretly during algebra class! She's never since used algebra, but her books have been nominated for many awards, including the RITA Award, Booksellers Best, National Readers Choice Award and the Holt Medallion.
