About this ebook

On the western prairie in 1898, Rose's mail-order brides and grooms matchmaking business attracts more men than women.

The gentlemen know what they want--homemakers, motherly beauties who play the pianoforte and sing, gals who love to cook. So what's Rose to do with a formidable female whose specialty is shoeing horses and shooting a gun?

CLEMENTINE IS NOT A WOMANLY WOMAN. She's downright scary.

Rose has only one unlikely gentleman who just might be right for her. Will the Colonel and Clementine be happy ever after? Or will the bride shoot the groom?

BULLETS FLY AND SURPRISES ABOUND IN THIS FUNNY, SWEET HISTORICAL ROMANCE.

About the author

Best-selling writer Bobby Hutchinson writes stories about almost everything, as long as everything involves romance, quirky people, outrageous kids, deafness, time travel, or medicine, with most of which she's familiar.

(Well, maybe not time travel. But who knows?)

She lives in a funky little cottage in the Canadian Rockies. In the summer, she hauls her tiny trailer, Calamity Jane, to campgrounds. In the winter, she hibernates.

She faints at the sight of blood, although her best-selling medical romance series, Emergency, does have the occasional scene involving bodily fluids.

She's written over 60 books, mostly romance, with a few memoirs added. How Not To Run A B&B is now being made into a film.

She lives in the land of possibility. And she's now writing faster than ever, because at 83, who knows when she'll head off to seek the Great Perhaps?
