Like books? Like the library? Like a good murder mystery? If so, you better grab a copy of this book. This book was easy reading, and I am looking forward to the next book in the series. I received this book as a paperback, as a free book from LibraryThing, but I will buy the rest of the series in ebook format. I lo Lindsey is the new director of the Briar Creek Public Library. Lindsey's best friend, Beth, is an aspiring children's book author, whose boyfriend Rick, is a published author, and is discouraging Beth from seeking publication for her book. A book editor from NY comes to town on vacation, and Lindsey and Beth find out why Rick is so discouraging about Beth trying to get published. A lot of adventure, a little romance and you have a book I enjoyed reading. Pick up a copy.

About the author

The hardest decision New York Times bestselling author Jenn McKinlay ever had to make was what to major in during college. Then she discovered the sanctuary of the library and library science—a major that allowed her to study all the subjects. She loves working as a librarian. After all, what other occupation allows you to research the ethnobotanical properties of agave, perform a puppet show for twenty wiggly toddlers and try to answer why the rabbit’s foot is considered lucky, all in the same day? Jenn is also the author of the Cupcake Bakery Mysteries, the Hat Shop Mysteries and the Bluff Point romance series. She lives in Scottsdale, Arizona, in a house that is overrun with books, pets, kids and her husband’s guitars.
