Carla wondered what’s the proper protocol was when a hit man held a gun at her. She sold real estate and was showing him this house. He was paid half a million to kill her, for that price he doesn’t ask questions. He searched her house again, what had he overlooked before. He had to find a trace of where she was heading, His son’s life was at stake. Now Carla is on the run, a past once again to look at. She has never mentioned her past. Six years in Kramer Lake. Her diary she wrote about that horrendous ordeal, the proof that would bring him down. Tanya hearing the name Carla now searching to find her, something she should have done back then and set them both free. Twisted tales of lies that have been hidden for sixteen years. A man’s greed for power, wants to kill anything from his past, at all cost. The lives that are now free and changed. Well done.

This one was hard to put down it would have been so easy to stay up all night and finish it, but alas, sleep beckoned. There's always tomorrow.
