Restraining His Runaway

Now that she’s back, he’s not letting her go.

I’ve spent the better part of my life on the run from an evil man everyone thought was good. I left behind a promising future and a best friend that I loved as far more than a friend. There hasn’t been a day that I didn’t think about sweet, shy Liam and the night we shared before I ran.

Years passed and while I stuck to the shadows, Liam basked in the glow of stage lights with his band, Malfeesance.

I just wanted to witness him playing once. To see him one more time, hidden amongst thousands of screaming fans, before finally moving on with my life free from fear.

But of course, things couldn’t go according to plan. They never do. Now Liam is taking me on the road with him, whether I like it or not.
