The Long Shot

The second book in Brandy L. Rivers’s Love Behind the Scenes series is a wonderfully intense romance that warms the heart as Ryan and Shannon give in to their attraction and take The Long Shot. Ryan King and Shannon O’Neil are both strong, charming and captivating characters that draw readers into their story and refuse to let go. The chemistry between them practically leaps off every page with sizzling electricity as the sparks fly between them but this relationship has a few obstacles in its path with has some intense emotional issues and turmoil flowing from the pages as well. Secrets, careers and family keep things on a rocky slope and the readers full of nail biting suspense in regards to the happily ever after in this fast paced plot. The story may not be suitable for some readers because this is an extremely hot m/m romance that has some explicit sexual content that singes readers with red hot passion but for others, please enjoy this story from beginning to end as it warms the heart and tugs at emotional strings as this couple works to overcome all the hardships that face them. Brandy L. Rivers has given readers another wonderful contemporary romance to enjoy and I was quite thrilled with Ryan and Shannon’s story and I can’t wait to find out whose story will be next in this series.

I am loving Brandy L. Rivers contemporary romance more and more with each one I read! And this one hit several of my high points. MM, plenty of suspense and intrigue, got to catch up with old favorites. I loved Shannon for Ryan. He was perfect. I loved that the alpha factor was pretty even with these two. Both are very strong men who know what they want and aren't afraid to be to show each other their vulnerabilities. Once again, Brandy L. Rivers has given her readers strong, lovable characters we can connect with.
