A story seeing domestic violence in her line of work, and didn’t tell anyone, feeling guilty, and mad at God for allowing it to happen. Emotion are tense, rumors were rampant that she is guilty. The cover and synopsis drew me to this book. I flew through the pages not wanting to wait to see what happened next. This was a very interesting storyline with well-rounded characters I was rooting for and those I couldn’t wait to see what they had coming. I have been looking for Christian suspense authors and I will be adding Janice Cantore to my library!
