Breathless Secrets

When one of Elizabeth Lennox’s books arrives in my kindle it’s time to stop what I’m reading and jump right in. Her books are always great reading and instant escapism. This book is no different. I was looking forward to reading Molly’s book but a little hesitant because I don’t normally like reading about politicians. I needn’t have worried. James is the ideal politician and I wish he was a reality, but I digress. This book is a great ending to the series. Molly is a strong woman who gets things done without having to really pressurise folks. Her natural charm and enthusiasm is enough. I absolutely loved this book, no spoilers but the ending is phenomenal. I loved catching up with all of the Rose Garden Apartment residents. It’s like a family reunion without the fighting. Molly is the local community center director. She is phenomenal at directing the interests of the local kids as well as the older “lost” adults. Molly brings all ages and incomes together to help and care for each other. It’s inspiring and Lennox puts you in the mix to feel as though you are there too, surrounded by friends. In book 3, Breathless Secrets, we see how Molly along with Lilly from book 1 and Maggie from book 2 continue improving the Rose Garden Apartments, the local neighborhood, and the Community center. James Morgan is a much respected, successful lawyer who is fed up with the corruption in government and has set his sights on replacing the local recently “indicted” corrupt Senator. James is visiting the neighborhood community center to see if its director, Molly will endorse him because Molly has a lot of influence within the community. BUT, James has just been gobsmacked! Molly is everything he never knew he wanted. This is a beautiful love story filled with inspiration and strong wonderful characters who weave in and out of the entire 3 book series. I just loved these people. Truly, this is a feel-good series. I read free in exchange for my honest review. Sweet and steamy, this final instalment of the series is an easy and satisfying read. Gallant hero meets independent heroine and sparks fly. I loved James throughout, he was gentlemanly and yet alpha enough to satisfy. Even better, he didn’t let Molly away with her insecurities ruling her. He confronted her and made her talk to him. Standalone, but I would recommend reading the whole series anyway I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
