Very disappointing. A poor drop in writing quality from Brian and Kevin; with characters that really dont 'feel' like those from the original books.

More interesting would be to tell of the immediate aftermath of the God Emperors demise about 5000 years tween that and the next chapters

Brian Herbert is a widely-published science fiction novelist. Kevin J. Anderson's novels include bestsellers based on the universes of Star Wars and The X Files.
